Car Show and Car Cruise is almost here!

REGISTER UNTIL AUGUST 10
August 10 is the last day to register early online or by mail . You can pre-register one more time at the Del Shannon Car Cruise Friday night. All pre-registered vehicles will save time as they speed through the Express Lane at registration. 2011 Dash Plaque and Car Show Bag will go t to the first 600 registrants so get there early.

DOOR PRIZES The car show number on your dash tag will be your number for the door prizes. Door prize numbers can be checked at State Farm tent or at Port City Racing at noon. Prizes can be picked up at Port City Racing.

TRAIN SHUTTLE New this year is the Train Shuttle Wrist Band which will allow you to use the train shuttle all day to move from one end of Main St to Port City Racing and food booths. Each registered vehicles receives one complimentary train shuttle wrist band and additional wrist bands are available for purchase on the train. Wrist band for train shuttle is attached to your dash tag.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 13
Car & Motorcycle Show from 7:00am to 4:00pm
Registration from 7:00am to Noon -

• Enter car show registration off 64th on north Main St.
• Pre-registered cars stay R to Express lane
• Motorcycle Show located just north of Main St and Eastmanville.
• Cash and checks accepted at cruise and car show.
  
• Parking volunteers will help you park to make sure there is room for everyone.
  
• Please limit space between cars to 1 door’s length.
  
• Event Guide is in your car show bag.
  
• Door prize number is your car show number this year.
  
• No U turns in car show roadway, exit east only.

Train will shuttle back and forth from East St near park to Port City Racing with a stop at Rotary clock/Food vendor starting at 10 am.

CAR CRUISE DASH PLAQUES are back this year for a donation. They are awesome and there are only 200.

Friday, August 12
Car Cruise line up begins at 4:00pm. Please take I-96 to exit 16 to 68th Ave then turn Right quickly on O’Malley Dr. and drive until you’re in the line. There will be T-shirts, Raffles, Pancake Breakfast tickets for sale and you can even get registered for car show to save you some time Saturday morning. (Car Cruise Map)

Fireworks start at dusk

Volunteers make this car show happen. We have over 100 volunteers helping. If you are volunteering at the car cruise or car show and need more information just call or email us. If you are interested in volunteering, please email info@delshannoncarshow.org or call 616-947-2055. Volunteers weary comfy shoes, dress in layers, dab on your sunscreen and be ready for a great day. Saturday volunteers please enter Port City Racing by taking Randall St to Eastmanville and turn west on Danforth and check in the volunteer table at the Camper Awning by registration. For those working traffic corner you may want to bring a bag chair to carry with you to your spot. VOLUNTEERS will receive an email Wednesday August 10 with updated instructions and information.
